A fully loaded NCASE M3 build pairing the AMD 9950X3D2 with an ROG Astral RTX 5090, Noctua air cooling, and careful cable routing in a small aluminum case.

Another NCASE M3 just rolled off the workbench, and yeah, it's absolutely maxed out: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, ASUS ROG Astral "Night God" RTX 5090, Noctua air cooling—all crammed into this tiny aluminum box. It's built for gaming and heavy production work simultaneously, which is wild, but somehow the inside stays clean and organized instead of looking like a cable nightmare.

What's Inside: Noctua and That Monster GPU

The cooling setup is a Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black dual-tower cooler—basically the entire upper half of the case is just this beast, with its black heatsink taking up all that real estate. Paired with a single NF-A12x25 PWM in chromax black, it keeps everything looking unified. And tucked between those towers? Apacer NOX DDR5 6000 memory with that glowing orange accent—literally the only intentional color pop in an otherwise pitch-black build.

Below that sits the ROG Astral RTX 5090, stretching corner to corner. Its own amber lighting plays off the memory's glow. Power comes in clean from above through the 12V-2x6 connector, and the ROG LOKI 1200W SFX-L titanium PSU lives in the back corner with all its cables running behind the motherboard tray so you don't see them.

What gets you about this build is just how much stuff manages to fit here without turning into a rats' nest. The cable management actually took some work in this cramped space, but once that side panel closes, everything looks wide open and tidy. Firing it up for the first time? That's the moment you realize it was worth the effort.

The Case: NCASE M3 in Grater Silver

The case itself deserves every bit of praise it gets. All-aluminum construction, CNC-machined panels, clean edges—the kind of solid metal feel that stamped aluminum can't even come close to. Even the screws feel good going in, which sounds like a tiny detail but honestly speaks to how much thought went into this design.

Grater Silver keeps things low-key: perforated panels up front and on the sides for airflow, a fine mesh intake in back, and a straightforward rear panel where the ROG Strix motherboard I/O, Noctua exhaust, and GPU display outputs all line up vertically. No tempered glass, no RGB spilling light everywhere—just a case that does its job and gets out of the way.

The Bottom Line

This is what precision manufacturing plus serious hardware looks like. The builder gave it full marks, and if you want to build your own version, it can be customized to order. Here's what went into it:
