The VGN Dragonfly F2 Turbo+ is a 51g wireless mouse that comes in a striking racing red limited colorway. I spent a week with it in Delta Force and Overwatch—hands are 18.5cm—testing everything from the shape and click feel to how the sensor actually behaves, battery endurance, and the mouse feet.
Weight, Shape, and Grip
At around 51g, the F2 Turbo+ feels light without that hollow, insubstantial feel some ultralight mice have. The shell never rattles—everything's locked in tight.
The shape does something smart: low up front, rises through the middle, opens up at the back. When you grip it in palm, your rear palm sits on the tail instead of floating in air. The waist curves just right so your fingers land in a natural bend instead of having to stretch. Claw and fingertip work too; the front left and right buttons have a subtle curve that keeps your fingers oriented without pressing into your palm.
The front button throw is only about 8mm. In FPS games, that short distance means quick peek-and-tap shots and pistol spam don't need you to lift your finger high, so the rhythm flows faster. Those rapid exchanges feel more direct.
There's a fine, skin-like coating on top of the semi-transparent frosted shell. When light hits it, the rose pink shifts through lighter and darker tones—it looks way better in person than in the official photos. And it doesn't turn sticky even during longer play sessions.
Sensor, Clicks, and In-Game Feel
The guts here are solid: Nordic's 54LM20 MCU paired with VGN's exclusive PAW3955 Extreme sensor. You get DPI up to 50,000 with 1 DPI per step, 11 LOD levels, a click latency of 0.175ms officially, and 8K polling whether you're wired or wireless.
There's an overclock mode in the driver that cranks the static scan rate to 22,000 FPS. Where you notice it is holding an angle and making tiny adjustments—the crosshair stays planted instead of wandering. Against a target strafing left and right, the reticle sticks like glue, and fast flicks snap cleanly without any lag or drag.
The optical switches are tuned for snappy response: quick trigger, crisp rebound. Each click speaks for itself, and the sound stays muted, which is nice for grinding late into the night.
Battery, Charging, and Feet
The 500mAh battery is rated for 357 hours in 1K mode. If you're gaming around three hours a day, a week of use barely dents the battery—realistically you're looking at a charge every month or so. It supports 3C fast charging, and VGN claims one minute of juice gets you ten hours of play. A quick top-up before a session got me through a whole evening without breaking a sweat.
The enlarged PTFE feet glide smooth on cloth pads: no sluggish drag at the start, solid stops, no suction. You get a spare set in the box too for when the originals eventually wear down.
Editor's Notes & Summary
If you care about looks as much as you care about light weight, quick taps, and solid performance without any obvious rough edges, the Dragonfly F2 Turbo+ belongs on your shortlist.

Really beautiful.
I’m a cable hoarder—all kinds of colors.
This cable matches so well.
51g, moderate.
This black-and-pink frosted look is really something. How’s the weight?
No, they aren’t.
Are the switches on the soft side?
The looks are great.
This mouse is probably in my top three favorite designs I’ve picked up this year.
The keyboard still looks better.
