A Photographer's White and Red Desk Setup: A Minimalist Tour

Simplicity. That's the whole thing. Photographer Guzy13 works out of Zhuhai, China, and they treat their desk like creative infrastructure—the less clutter on the surface, the easier it is to actually start working. The Ambitful studio light drops down from above, the Sony FX3 sits off to the side—everything tells you what this space is actually for. And it doesn't feel forced. The monitor goes in one spot, the MacBook Pro 16 in another, the camera somewhere else. Each thing has its place, and they just... work together.

Two Keyboards, Two Different Jobs

There's a white MelGeek Centauri80 that handles the day-to-day stuff—it's front and center, small, red accents, everything you need close by. Then there's the CYBERBOARD R2, which is the one that makes you feel like you're actually sitting down to do something intentional. One keyboard for rhythm, one keyboard for ritual. That's the detail that shows how much thought went into this whole setup.

Everything Else Stays Hidden or Contained

The AirPods Max sit out on the desk, visible but not in the way. A tray from abo studio holds the smaller stuff—keys, adapters, a phone in a red case. Behind the monitor, the EEGIOZR dock and the chargers live up on a shelf. Move the power and the cables off the main surface, and suddenly the desk is what it's supposed to be: a place to actually work.
